Terms of Use

These terms apply to this website and to the games published by Any Button Games: Meow Sweeper, Lumen the Red Panda and The Storyteller (together, the “Games”). The Storyteller also has its own Terms and Conditions, which take precedence for that game. By downloading or playing a Game you agree to these terms.

1. Your licence to play

The Games are licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and play the Games for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights in the Games, including code, art, music, characters, names and logos, belong to Any Button Games or our licensors.

You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse engineer or extract the source code or assets of the Games, or make derivative versions, except where the law expressly allows it. Streaming and making videos of our Games is welcome, including monetised videos.

2. Store and platform terms

You get our Games through third-party stores. Their terms also apply:

3. Purchases and Cat Coins (Meow Sweeper)

Cat Coins are an in-game currency. You earn them by completing levels, and in the mobile versions you can also buy them. They can only be spent in the game on gadgets and cosmetic items. Cat Coins and items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another player.
Ad-free is a one-time purchase that turns off interstitial ads on the devices linked to your store account. Optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch stay available. You can restore it with Restore purchases in the Shop.
Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Refunds are handled by the store according to its refund policy; please contact the store first, and write to us if you need help.
Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA): digital content is delivered immediately after purchase. By completing a purchase you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the content has been delivered. This does not affect your rights if the content is faulty.
Progress, Cat Coins and items are saved on your device. If you uninstall the game or clear its data, they are lost (purchases such as ad-free can be restored through the store). We can’t restore lost Cat Coins or items.

4. Advertising

The free mobile versions of Meow Sweeper show ads provided by Google AdMob. How ad data is handled, and how you can choose between personalised and non-personalised ads, is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.

5. Fair use

Please play fair and be kind to other players. Don’t use our games or online features to harm others or to share illegal or offensive content.

6. Updates and availability

We may update the Games to fix bugs, add content or change features, and you may need to install updates to keep playing. Some features need an internet connection (ads, purchases, online play). We may stop offering a Game or a feature in the future; if we do, we will give reasonable notice where possible.

7. Liability

We make our Games with care, but they are provided “as is”, and we can’t guarantee they will always be free of bugs or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of save data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your country.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Significant changes will be announced in the game or on our Discord; continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
